Contemporary Country was a series featuring country music of the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. There were 22 volumes, ranging into the mid-1990s. It was a CD-only series started in 1991; we have not seen LP versions of these. Booklet covers featured full-color photos of one of the artists on the CD, and the back of the booklet had a full-sized photo of a different artist on the CD (for the first ten volumes, these back photos were black-and-white, but changed to full color after that).

While the US CD covers were as below, the Canadian CD set had a different cover design. The discs themselves had graphics identical to the US discs. The 1991 US brochure is pictured at far left, the 1993 Canadian brochure pictured near left.
