Capitol seems to be the winner in having most little LPs, over 140.

COMPACT-33 LITTLE LP (JUKEBOX EP) DISCOGRAPHY: CAPITOL RECORDS

Label Scan

Number - Artist - Title [Date of Release] Songs [LP Number, if significantly different]

Capitol

Capitol used two different labels for their 1960s compact 33 LLPs. The earliest one corresponded to the label they used for LPs from 1958-1962 or from album 1021 to 1660. It had a vertical line with the Capitol logo on the left side of the label. Many of the Compact 33 little LPs within that range are found today with the second label (see below), due to being issued later. Since LLPs were not manufactured before 1962, very few of the earliest releases used this label. SXA-1602, SXA-1659, and SXA-1672 were issued in 1962 with this label. Oddly, Capitol started re-using these first labels in mid-1966, and most releases from SU-2431 to SU-2703, and the back-issues from that time, use this first label.

The second Capitol label used for their LLPs was used until 1962 and SXA-1659. It had a large "33" at the top with "Capitol Compact" on the left and right of the 33.

Capitol Compact Double 33 Series

The Capitol Compact Double-33 Series was an attempt to sell 33 1/3 rpm EPs, or "compact doubles" to the record-buying public. After trying with their best artists' biggest hits, they resigned themselves to the fact that this format wasn't popular at all with customers. The Compact Double-33 releases used the black Capitol label with the "33" at the top.
