The first Gordy label was purple with silver printing. "Gordy" in yellow script above the center hole.
Behind the Gordy logo is a circle with "IT'S WHAT'S IN THE GROVES THAT COUNT". This label was
used until approximately April 1968, GLPS-927. The second Gordy label was purple with silver print.
"GORDY" to the left of the center hole, a yellow wedge running from the left of the label to the right. This
label was used through the 1980's. Deejay label was the same design, on white with black print.
