Pride Album Discography
By Peter Preuss, Mike Callahan, Patrice Eyries, and David Edwards
Last update: April 23, 2003

Pride was one of the many MGM spinoffs with a name that suggested their logo lion. Many of the early issues on the label were in fact reissues of old material. Pride did sign one major group, the Sylvers, who had several hit albums and singles for them.

Their swan song for MGM distribution was the 1973 album by the Incredible Bongo Band. After that, the label switched to Atlantic for distribution of a few more releases. The Sylvers went to Capitol, although MGM reissued the Pride albums on the parent label.
