Shortly after Chess was purchased by GRT, the label was changed to orange with black printing,
the perimeter of the label was blue with a blue stripe running horizontally through the center hole.
"CHESS" to the left of the center hole. Above the logo is a stylized horse head. Promotional labels were
white with the same graphics in black. On the 50000 and 60000 Cadet releases, the label was yellow
with black printing, the perimeter of the label was red with a red stripe running horizontally through the
center hole. "CADET" to the left of the center hole. Above the logo is a stylized horse head. Promotional
labels were white with the same graphics in black.
With the consolidation of the labels into a single labeling number sequence, the Checker label was
discontinued.
